Julian
Coates
Julian was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Asia in 2022. He leads and delivers the strategic direction of Green Bird’s wholesale and reinsurance businesses.
He has been stationed in Singapore for the past eight years, working with international broking firms Aon and Lockton Re, before joining Green Bird which serves clients across the APAC region.
Originally from Australia, with over sixteen years’ of experience in the wider reinsurance/insurance industries, Julian leads a youthful and fast-paced team.

Russell
Thomas Russell has over 10 years’ experience in insurance across a broad range of roles from account manager to his current position managing the Wholesale and Placement division of Green Bird.
He specialises in creating bespoke Reinsurance placements that utilise local and international markets to secure the most competitive solutions for insureds and cedents.
Jennifer
Gray
In her position as Regional Placement Manager, Jennifer is responsible for strategy, placement, and business development across all Liability lines.
Jennifer has over 10 years of experience working in the insurance sector, having formerly worked as a Liability Underwriter within Lloyd’s of London. She holds a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Sciences and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII)
She is a keen runner and enjoys exploring Asia and the region.

Kit Han
Eng Kit leads Green Bird’s Claims Team and has demonstrated experience in handling insurance claims.
He uses his 20 years of experience in the insurance industry to make sure the claims process runs efficiently and smoothly for each insurance class, think Property, Casualty, Specialty and Employee Benefits. Eng Kit applies his knowledge through the entire claims cycle, helping clients with claims resolution, policy coverage and interpretation, claims analysis and risk management.
Cassaundra
Tan
Cassaundra is the Head of Employee Benefits.
She oversees the growth and management of the Employee Benefits portfolio, develops client strategies, and builds strategic relationships with partners. She has experience with both local and international benefit programs. Before entering the world of insurance, she held positions in communication, marketing, and business development.
Cassaundra is an avid traveller and is passionate about tennis and formula 1.
